Need for School Supplies
Class Supply Lists


Dear Parents,

A very important aspect of academic success is organization and having the proper supplies. We are asking for you, if able, to send basic school supplies with your child(ren) on the first day of school.

The following is a list of recommended supplies that teachers would like their students to have. Children who do not have their own supplies will be given access to classroom supplies. Any other supplies that you wish to send with your child would be very much appreciated. Many of the supplies listed will need replacement during the year.
  
Classroom teachers may have additional supply requests that they will communicate to you. Please label belongings with a permanent marker.

All teachers would appreciate the donation of boxes of facial tissue (e.g., Kleenex) on a regular basis for use in their classrooms.

Kindergarten

  • 1 box of 24 crayons
  • 2 glue sticks
  • Elmers glue bottle
  • 1 box of colored pencils
  • 1 pack of fat markers (multi-colors)
  • 1 box of kleenex
  • fat eraser
  • big backpack
  • one pocket folder
  • one class-size donated snack
  • one favorite storybook to donate to the class
  • one folder with brad fastener

Grade 1

  • box of 24 crayons
  • 1 plastic pencil box or pouch
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 1 box of kleenex
  • 2 pink erasers
  • 3 No. 2 pencils, to be replenished throughout the year

Grade 2

  • box of 24 crayons (no larger)
  • pack of 12 plan yellow barrel #2 pencils
  • 6 glue sticks
  • Girls: large or small zip lock bags
  • boys: painters' tape
  • waterless hand sanitizer with pump
  • clorox wipes
  • pack of wide-ruled notebook paper
  • 1 plastic pencil box
  • 1 black and white 100-page composition book
  • old clean sock (to use to erase on our dry-erase boards)
  • 1 ream of Astro Bright paper
  • 1 ream of white copy paper
  • a box of water-based markers (put name on the box)
  • dry erase markets (the thick Expo kind, one package)
  • colored pencils (put name on the box)
  • a pair of scissors
  • a thick pointy tip black marker

Grade 3

  • box of 24 or 48 crayons (no larger)
  • 4 no. 2 pencils, to be replenished throuhout the year
  • self-contained pencil sharpener
  • erasers (including pencil toppers)

  • ruler with inch and centimeter
