The translation of the Don Callejon School website is created automatically by Google, using machine translation software.  Unfortunately this service is not perfect and the translations are not comparable to those created by professional human translators.  For example, Google may misinterpret “kids” as “baby goats” instead of “children,” may accidentally translate proper names, and may come up with generally inaccurate and sometimes amusing translations.

Since the translations are created automatically when the link is clicked, based on the current page content, we cannot edit or control the output of the translation.  We use the Google service because it allows most website content to be instantly available in Spanish, and because it would be cost prohibitive to professionally translate all the pages on the website.
